  Food deserts adversely affect children in those low-income communities with Black and Brown people. Poor nutrition can often lead to obesity, type 2 Diabetes, and learning difficulties that may affect career choice and later earning abilities. As Black men, we understand firsthand the hurdles and difficulties inherent with our diasporic sojourn. Thus, our purpose and vision are to make healthy food accessible and affordable to disenfranchised communities. As fathers, we are concerned about not only our children’s futures, but the future of all children. We want to properly balance and restore the relationship of food production and consumption by educating and training underpriveledged communities on the benefits of organic food production both personally and communally. Through our data supported programming coupled with our commitment to urban communities, we intend to eliminate food deserts one child and one community at a time
